and to learn about our process, deadlines and requirements.
Grant Applications
Requirements
- To be eligible, organizations must qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Applications must be submitted through the online grant application form.
Grantmaking Priorities
Preference may be given to requests for the following:
Youth – The foundation supports youth programs; particularly those that focus on “at risk” children. This includes children with health or development challenges, as well as those facing financial hardships, and family issues.
Veterans – The foundation supports programs for veterans and their families.
Average Giving
The Foundation awards 8 to 15 grants each year, ranging from $10,000 to $30,000.
The foundation typically funds:
- Operating grants
- Consideration will be given to single and multi year program grants
Application Deadlines
There are two application window. Grants will be accepted May 1 through May 31; and October 1 through October 31. Applications will be reviewed for approval at the grant meeting each June and November.
Communication
Applicants will receive an email confirming their submission. Notice on accepted or declined applications will go out by July 15 and December 15 respectively.
Reporting Requirements
Except as otherwise specified when a grant is awarded, a progress report must be submitted within 6 months after receiving funds on any program grants.
